                 Good Friday Cross Walk

Cross Walk1

12:00-1:00 pm, Franklin Town Common

Families, friends, and parishioners of all ages are encouraged to unite on Good Friday for this remembrance of Christ's Passion.  We will gather at Noon to walk together through and around the Franklin town common and back to St Mary's lawn.  Participants may choose to help share the burden of carrying the heavy cross during the procession, and teens will read reflections and prayers as we pause along the way to reflect on Jesus' great love for us.

Related service opportunity: Teens may sign up to read the reflections and prayers (which are provided) along the route.  Click here to sign up to read or email us at The Rock!

  Cross Walk2

~ Friday, April 14 ~

Service Opportunity:

Decorate the church altar for Easter

meet in upper church at approx. 8:15 pm

Many hands are needed immediately following the Good Friday evening service to help dress the church in its Easter splendor. No experience needed, just the ability to move flowers and decorations and follow directions. Our helping hands + Mr. Ristaino's plans and direction = a beautifully decorated altar. Easy, fun, and a very personal way to connect to the beauty of the season.
