God of This City Tour 2010

"You're the God of This City, you are...
...Greater things are yet to come and greater things are still to be done in this city..."

God of This City -- lyrics by Bluetree

On December 2, the GOTC tour stopped at St Mary's for a powerful night of Catholic fellowship.

Upwards of 700 people filled St Mary's to experience the enormous blessings of the night. Enthusiastic praise and worship, an impressive message from Brett St Gelais, an opportunity to bow down in reverent adoration of our Lord, and the opportunity for hundreds to receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation. Truly an amazing and faith affirming experience for all who took time out of their busy lives to share this occasion together. The mixture of faces in the crowd showed that many ages came with open minds and open hearts to receive what only God knew possible.

A heartfelt thank you to the parishioners of St Mary's Parish, and especially to Fr. Brian and Fr. Frank, for your support of and involvement with the GOTC Tour. The number and diversity of volunteers reflected a strong community effort. We could not have accomplished this without you.

Our sincerest desire is that the GOTC tour leaves behind a sustained impact on our community, and that everyone present this night gained a sense of renewal that will be with you forever. For those that missed out on the tour, or for those that want more, The Rock Youth Ministry attends LIFT every month in Milton (next one is on January 11). Teens, stay connected to The Rock to keep the momentum going. "Greater things are yet to come, and greater things are still to be done in this city!"

With fondest wishes, and utmost appreciation for your support,
Jennifer Moccia & Jackie LaNeve -- site coordinators for GOTC
