This ministry serves as an outreach to those who are experiencing a death in the family. This ministry involves such things as; assisting the families with the planning of the funeral liturgy, explaining the different roles family and friends can take within the liturgy, follow up phone calls during the mourning period, and other services which may be called for to bring comfort to a painful experience.
