Altar & Sanctuary Care Ministry

Members of the Altar & Sanctuary Care Ministry fill an essential and behind the scenes role in the preparation and celebration of the Eucharist at St. Mary’s Parish.

Time commitment for a member

  • Dusting & light cleaning is for 2-3 hours once or twice a month, during the hours of 9:00-3:00, Mondays - Thursdays (except holidays).
  • Linens are generally one load - wash, dry & iron, twice a month. Pick-up and drop-off prior to or after scheduled Mass times.
  • Preferred months will be taken into consideration when the schedule is prepared for the upcoming year. The number of assigned months depends on availability and the number of members.
