Evangelization and the Missionary Spirit

Read the US Bishops’ pastoral letter on evangelization, Go and Make Disciples. “The gospel message gives us a different vision of what life is all about…We do not view life’s purpose as the gathering of power and riches, but as the gracious invitation to live for God and others in love” (Go and Make Disciples, #21). The US bishops say something important here…evangelization is about living courageously (counter-culturally) and lovingly in our world, inviting others to experience the Good News through us.
